On this page you will find information about joining Wye River SLSC and renewing your membership.
Membership renewals and fees are due and payable from 1 October 2023. Please refer to the "Membership Renewal" or "New Members" tab on the left of this page for an explanation of the membership process using the Surf Lifesaving Australia Members Area. Provided you have already created an account this year membership renewal is a two step process which involves first checking and renewing your member details and then making the appropriate fee payment. Family members should also create a Family Group.
Senior Active
18 Years and over with current Bronze medallion or SRC, may patrol and perform water safety duties
Cadet Active
Aged 13-17 years holding Bronze medallion or SRC, may patrol and perform water safety duties
SRC Members must have at least one parent/guardian also join as a member.
Junior
Aged 5 – 12 years. Junior members who have attained the age of 6 by 1 October may participate in our nippers program. It is a condition of membership that Junior members have at least one parent/guardian also join as a member. Family Membership Fee applies.
Associate
Non-Active Member, does not hold current Bronze Medallion
Associate (Senior)
Aged over 60 years
Whilst only members who have obtained (or are training this season to obtain) a bronze medallion or surf rescue certificate are considered “active members”, we would like to remind you that all members of the club, including associate members, are able to participate in training and awards and subsequently patrols. Any non-active member interested in obtaining an award should contact our chief instructors for further information.

The membership fees for 2023/2024 for previous members are as follows:
Senior active (18 yrs and over) - $80
Cadet active (15 – 18 yrs) - $70
Associate - $100
Senior Associate (60 yrs and over) - $40
Family - $210
Family with concession/health care card- $100
Please note that "Family" is not a membership category, it is a discounted membership fee for a Family "group" of individual members. The family group for fee purposes may comprise of 1 or 2 parents and guardians and any number of dependant children from the same household.
In addition fees apply to enrol in the following training programs
Nipper - $35
SRC - $50
Bronze Camp - $300
Official club merchandise is available for purchase during Nippers sessions and on registration day.
