New Members Information!

BRONZE MEDALLION CAMP

The Surf Club is running a Bronze Medallion Camp at the end of the year. The camp will start on the 3rd of January*** and continue to the 8th of January***. The exam is on the 9th of January***. If your at least 13 years old, you're able to gain your Surf Rescue Certificate or your Bronze Medallion (15 y.o. +). The camp involves both sessions to work through theory on Beach Conditions, Life Saving Techniques, First Aid, Resuscitation, etc. and there is also a practical component in the surf, with board and tube rescues and a run-swim-run. Attending this camp involves signing up as a Club Member & once you pass your exam you'll be able to help patrol our beaches through
summer. It's great fun, so don't miss out.
